16th-17th century gambesons

In the 16th-17th century gambesons are not only protective - they are also decorative. They are made of plain and patterned fabrics, as well as leather. There are also embroidery and other decorative elements appearing on previously simple gambeson. Gambeson is also enhanced with ropes attached to the outer layer, and in some other new ways.
