Padded coifs from Kokosh’s Manufacture are based on illustrations from the Maciejowski Bible. Our coifs are tied under chin or made with longer front and back. Each padded coif or other piece of medieval headwear is handmade. We make our headwear out of linen, fleece (unprocessed wool), and leather. There are also caps from other historical periods in our offer. They are always adjusted to the helmet it will be worn with, and to the client’s preferences.
